Birthday Freebies That I Care About

With birthday season happening in my household, and mine in a week, here are 71 fun freebies I’m on the lookout for!

So these aren’t all the ones that exist, these are just the ones in my relative area that I as a vegan can actually enjoy! Because most of them are food. I found most of the clothing deals weren’t worth it - 15% off of $50 items are hardly worth the millions of emails I’m going to get when I forget to unsubscribe.

I think you need to sign up on apps for a lot of these, so make sure to do it a bit before your birthday in case your perk is available for the whole month or it needs time to process your information.

These are also my understanding of what the perks are - they’re obvi subject to change, so apologies in advance if they’re inaccurate!

2. BAJA FRESH - $10 off next purchase or a burrito?? (unclear what this deal is)

3. BASKIN ROBBINS - free kid scoop (they have a vegan option now! Mint chocolate)

4. BOB’S BIG BOY - free hot fudge ice cream cake (I can’t have this but I like them so I’m adding it here)

5. BJ”s - free pizookie (same ^)

6. BUCCA DI BEPPO - $20 off check or free colossal brownie sundae? (again ^ these are incredible and fucking huge though… like for at least 4 or 5 people huge.)

7. BUFFALO WILD WINGS - free 6 buffalo wings (if they had vegan options I’d be more excited but maybe I’ll get these for my boyfriend Angel)

8. BUILD-A-BEAR - free gift for every birthday on your account (I just got one on a cruise I went on! Now Bary can have clothes!)

9. BURGER KING - 9free Whopper or Croissant’wich. (maybe i can get their impossible meat)

10. CALIFORNIA PIZZA KITCHEN - free dessert (only adding this one cause I used to work here and their desserts honestly slap. Buttercake w ice cream, or strawberry shortcake with ice cream. They use Haagen Dazs.)

11. CARL’S JR. - free BOGO famous star with cheese (maybe they’ll let me do it with Beyond meat)

12. CHIPOTLE - free chips and guac with a $5 purchase

13. COLDSTONE CREAMERY - free BOGO (again I used to work here and they actually have a vegan option now that I really enjoy! Silk Almond milk chocolate. Tastes like a Wendy’s frosty.)

14. DAIRY QUEEN - free BOGO blizzard (I used to fucking love these. Heath bar or mint oreo.)

15. DEL TACO - free regular-sized milkshake or 2 chicken soft tacos? (adding for honor because they have those bangin’ beyond tacos.)

16. DENNY’S - Free Grand Slam (pancakes, eggs, bacon, or sausage) (i eat eggs and love pancakes so I’ll give the meat to Angel or ask for hashbrowns :)

17. DUNKIN’ DONUTS - free medium beverage (they have really yummy non-dairy coffees)

19. EL POLLO LOCO - free $5 coupon with $5 purchase (their vegan pollo was yummy. I think it’s gone now but their avocado burrito is good too)

21. GAMESTOP - free gift ?? (idk what this means but adding in honor of Angel who is a lil gamerboi)

22. GOLDEN CORRAL - free BOGO adult buffet (literally never been here, don’t even know where they are but this just sounds like a great deal. Free bUFFET??? SOLD.)

26. JACK IN THE BOX - 2 free tacos with any purchase (another one to give to Angel these are yum but I don’t eat those)

28. JOHNNY ROCKETS - free BOGO single burger (they have vegan meat & cheese!! & are on city walk next to universal where I have a pass to!)

29. KIEHL’S - free lip balm #1 or travel-size item with any purchase (Justine works here! Hi Justine!)

30. KRISPY KREME - free DOZEN of original donuts!!!!!

31. LANE BRYANT - $20 off coupon with a minimum $20.01 purchase (never shopped here but both hilarious, petty, and nice that they make you pay $20.01. Could have been more but why not just make it free lmao)

32. LUCILLE’S BBQ SMOKEHOUSE - free appetizer or dessert up to $13.25 or $10 off $30 check? (fried pickles and free biscuits!!)

33. MAGGIE MOO’S - $5 off (i didn’t know they still existed but I used to get cotton candy and white choco chips when I was little and it was the most incredible feeling of my existence.)

34. MCDONALD’S - free dessert app-exclusive (they actually have great rewards every month and their apple pie is vegan!)

35. MEDIEVAL TIMES - BOGO admission coupon (I used to go here all the time. Literally so fucking fun as a child. Would be wild to see as an adult. Read a twitter thread that all the performers were hooking up with each other and really drunk… changes your view a little bit. lol)

36. MENCHIE’S - $5 off (sometimes they have sorbets? I probably won’t go here but they’re good.)

57. SHONEY’S - free dessert with entree purchase (idk wtf this is but there’s a Shoney’s in Rick&Morty so I’m adding it here.)

58. SMASHBURGER - free side or classic smash burger (idk this place but they have vegetarian options and its a free burger so yay)

59. SPRINKLES - free cupcake, brownie, cookie, or scoop? (they have a vegan cupcake!)

60. STARBUCKS - free any size drink with any additions

61. SUBWAY - free cookie (this is a shit deal lmao but their cookies are good)

62. SWEETGREEN - $10 coupon but only if you spent over $99 the previous year. (I'm adding this because I fucking hate this place. This deal is trash and also this is like the only place that all the producers and young 30-year-olds that I work with wanna eat from. Fuck you sweet green!!!!! You did nothing wrong and I HATE YOU!!)

64. TARGET - 5% off………… (worst deal I have ever seen. Worse than dumbass Sweetgreen. Step it up target.)

68. WAFFLE HOUSE - free waffle (these are the most “lost in the middle of nowhere also this might be a deserted limbo dream of death” kind of location. 10/10)

69. WETZEL’S PRETZEL’S - free original, flavored, or cheese pretzel ( love a good soft pretzel… I love a bad soft pretzel.)

70. WIENERSCHNITZEL - free corndog (I don't go here but there was one by my school and I always wanted it. Same when I see commercials. Wish they have vegan chili cheese dogs.)

71. YARD HOUSE - free mini birthday dessert (I probably cant eat this either but they have really yummy Gardein vegan chicken bites and I just wanted to let you all know.)
